The Douglas County School System Title I Department is in the process of reviewing and revising the district’s Parent and Family Engagement Plan. This plan outlines how the district will implement programs, activities, and procedures for the involvement of parents and families in Title I programs. We are looking for parent input.

Tickets are on sale for our Family Sneakerball Semi-Formal Dance. The dance will be held on Friday, April 14th from 6:00-8:00 pm in the gymnasium. Ticket prices include food, dancing, and a photo booth! We hope you can join us!

We will have our Black History Month program on Thursday, February 16th at 5:30 PM in the gym which will showcase our student's talents and gifts as they honor Black historians of the present and past.

Join us for our Family Literacy Night and Inaugural Reading Fair on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 5:30 PM.

The purpose of the Annual Title I parent meeting is to provide information to you about the Title I program here at Factory Shoals and your right to be involved in your child's education.

We will celebrate our grandparents on Tuesday, September 27th from 7:00 am until 7:30 am. Please RSVP by September 21st so our cafeteria will be prepared.

First through Fifth Grade Parents: Join us on Thursday, September 29th from 5 pm until 6:30 pm for our Curriculum Parent Night. You will be able to see firsthand what your student is learning each day!
