FSES Inclement Weather Plan
Douglas County School System is actively working to be prepared in the case of inclement weather. We are launching an online learning platform for the days that students and teachers are not able to make it in.


Our teachers will give assignments through Education Galaxy, MyON, and Brainpop. All of these activities can be accessed through Clever at https://clever.com/in/douglas-county-school-system/student/portal
Students will follow the schedule as closely to our daily school schedule as they can. The schedule is as follows
9:00-MATH-Education Galaxy 
10:00- Reading- MyON, 
11:00-Writing- Education Galaxy
12:00-1:00 Break (This would be lunches and recess during our normal day)
1:00-Science- Education Galaxy
2:00-Social Studies- Education Galaxy 

When they visit this site, choose login as a student, enter school name, and then 'login with Clever'. 
The student login is the same one they use during the school day: Username: initials and student number (used in cafeteria and to log in to a school computer)

Password: Six-digit Birthday
Example: 072010

Teachers will be available via school email or Class Dojo from 9:00-2:00 on these days. Students will have three days to complete the assignments. If you do not have access to a computer or the Internet, paper and pencil assignments will be given upon returning to school. These students will also be given three days for completion.
