The mission of DCSS is to provide a quality education for all students in a safe, supportive environment.  The Fee-Based After School Program sponsored by the Douglas County School System is designed to provide adult supervision, in a group setting, to students whose parents work outside the home after school hours.

ASP will be open on the first day of school, Thursday, August 1st for those students who have pre-registered. The last day of ASP for the 2024-2025 school year is Friday, May 16, 2025.

Factory Shoals Elementary is proud to offer an After School Program (ASP) to our students and parents.  ASP runs every afternoon Monday through Friday during the dates school is in session.  ASP is closed on half days and the day before/Fridays before a week long break, as well as days school is not in session.

The following days, parents will have to find alternate care for their children after school:

Friday, October 11, 2024
Friday, November 22, 2024
Wednesday, December 18, 2024
Friday, February 14, 2025
Friday, April 4, 2024
Monday, May 19 - Wednesday, May 21, 2024
