Factory Shoals Elementary will celebrate Red Ribbon Week from October 23–31, 2025, with the theme “Life is a Puzzle—Solve It Drug Free!” Each day, students and staff will take part in themed dress-up days and activities that encourage healthy, drug-free choices.

Thursday, Oct. 23: Show Your “RED”-y to Be Drug Free! – Wear red to kick off Red Ribbon Week.
Friday, Oct. 24: Blacking Out Drugs, Lighting Up Our Dreams! – Wear all black.
Monday, Oct. 27: Too Bright for Drugs! – Wear 70s, 80s, or 90s clothes, or neon/tie-dye.
Tuesday, Oct. 28: Be a Hero, Be Drug-Free! – Dress up as your favorite teacher or community helper.
Wednesday, Oct. 29: Follow Your Dreams, Don’t Do Drugs! – Wear school-appropriate pajamas.
Thursday, Oct. 30: Look Sharp, Kick Drugs Out! – Dress to impress with your favorite kicks.
Friday, Oct. 31: Book Smart, Drug-Free Heart! – Dress as a book character (no masks, please).
